The ROSTOCKER STEPPENBRAND is a public gay outdoor fetish meeting. In the early summer of 2005, a couple of Rostock guys had the idea of organising an open-air meeting for lovers of gay fetish gear. On the one hand, the idea was to finally give friends of leather, rubber, army gear, skin, work uniform etc. here in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania an opportunity to get together and get to know each other, but on the other this meeting was to be sharply differentiated from fetish meetings in pubs, bunkers and other locations in German cities.

The opportunity arose through a friend to organise the first meeting in the grounds of the former Rostock off-road park, where we were able to meet up freely and easily, have a chat and a convivial beer, dream at the campfire and disappear off for a while with ‘Mr Right’.

Although we ‘only’ advertised on the www and in two gay journals, the meeting struck what was for us a very surprising chord: after all, in the meantime, we have welcomed people from Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Canada, France, Denmark, Australia, Poland, Hungary, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia as well as from every single German state. And the unanimous opinion has been: “Keep it up lads; that was great…”

And that remained the pattern in the years that followed. And the fifth (anniversary) fetish meeting in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania too, in new surroundings for the first time, was a complete success.

Where you can play around again to your heart’s content in the open air.
We’ll be providing all manner of possibilities.
There’ll be St. Andrew’s crosses, cages, several slings and any number of mud holes.
The compound has plenty of space, even for motocross fans to let off steam.
